The Nazi party members control Germany and the people are granted no freedom at all. The leaders of this party prefer the continuation of their power to the welfare of the German people. Hence, in spite of the fact that defeat is inevitable they are continuing the struggle.
The result is that all the big cities of Germany have been heavily bombed, their industries wrecked, and the people suffer from hunger and disease.
The Nazi party leaders had the choice of (1) continuing this useless struggle and destroying the nation or (2) surrender and save the nation.
The leaders chose (1) i.e. destruction of the homeland. Hence the greatest enemies of the German people are these Nazi (party) leaders.
