In spite of what you have been told by selfish military leaders at home who have deceived everyone and who are willing to let you die in order to further their personal ambitions, kindness and generosity have always been part of the American tradition.
In our country, when a soldier has done all he can and is no longer able to fight effectively, he goes over to the enemy. Americans do not bear grudges. While we fight, we fight hard; but once the battle is over, we shake hands and welcome the foe.
Whever your soldiers have come over to us, they have received good treatment. You, too, can recieve cooked food, water, reading matter, and medical attention. Cease your futile resistance and join us.
